Procedure for Motor Claims

Easy ways to make a vehicle accident claims

Step 1
Take photos of damaged vehicles at the scene.

Step 2
Make a police report within 24 hours.

Step 3
Inform Takaful IKHLAS by contacting our Customer Service at 03-2723 9999 (office hours) or go to the nearest branch. If the vehicle is still capable of moving, please send to the nearest workshop panels, or contact our free line number at 1-800-88-1186 (24jam/7hari) for towing services.

Step 4
Submit the following documents to the workshop: –

  • Vehicle Accident Report Form
  • Police Report
  • A copy of the Vehicle Registration Card
  • Copy of Driving License and Identity Cards of the Participants and the Driver
  • Copies of Certificates or Cover Note

Step 5
Takaful IKHLAS or the workshop panel will contact you from time to time for the purpose of filing the claim.

Procedure for Motor Vehicle Theft Claim

Step 1
Make a police report within 24 hours.

Step 2
Inform Takaful IKHLAS within 14 days from the date of loss of vehicle by calling our Customer Service at 03-2723 9999 (office hours) or go to the nearest branch.

Step 3
Submit the following documents to the Takaful IKHLAS: –

  • Completed Claim Form
  • Original Police Report
  • Copy of Vehicle Registration Card
  • Takaful Certificate
  • Photocopy of Identity Card and Driving License of the Participants and the Driver

Procedure for Windscreen Claim

The documents required are as follows: –

  • Completed Windscreen Claim Form
  • Police report (if there is any)
  • Images of the Damages
  • Images of the Recovery
  • Receipt of the Original Repairing
  • Copies of the Book / Bank Statement (E-Payment)

Procedure for Accident Involve Injury/Damage to the Third Party Vehicle Claim

Step 1
Report the incident to the police within 24 hours

Step 2
Contact our Customer Service Centre at 03-27239696 or the nearest branch office to inform the accident. We will send the accident claim form by mail or you can personally take an accident report at the Customer Service Centre at our headquarters or the nearest branch or download from the website of Takaful IKHLAS.

Step 3
Kindly notify us if the applicant should receive any letter of summons from a third party lawyer.
